BrightOutcome works closely with the NIH’s landmark PROMIS initiative to develop solutions for integrating Patient Reported Outcomes in the care process. Integration with PROMIS instruments (both adaptive and static instruments) is under development, and will be offered by default in our Version 4.0, 2Q09. What PROMIS is, and why it’s important PROMIS began as part of a cooperative network formed by a group of outcomes scientists from seven institutions and the NIH, funded under the NIH Roadmap Initiative to re-engineer the clinical research enterprise.
